Catappa Bark Small

Catappa Bark releases valuable ingredients into the water to improve its quality. In the few first days the release is particularly high, and the intensity breaks down completely over 2 - 3 months.

Due to the diversity of the water compositions, no reliable amount in grams of bark per liter of water is possible.  However, it does not hurt to prolong the external watering of the bark from a ratio of 1:2 (1 gram : 2 liters)

Not all aquarium dwellers tolerate a rapid change of water, so we recommend soaking the bark externally for 1-3 days and renewing the water daily.  Place the bark individually in the aquarium at daily intervals.  The pH value should be checked daily, especially at low carbonate hardness.  The behaviour of the inhabitants should be monitored.
